What if you could mix magic dust with other dusts to get magic which had different properties?
For instance, magic dust mixed with glowstone dust could become glowing magic dust, which could be made into a glowing magic block (using 4) and then into a magic lamp. (I made textures for these if you want them.)
Another idea is magic gunpowder, could be made into magical tnt which would be a bigger blast radius etc.
Magic sugar? Makes healing cake, pie, etc.
Magic blaze powder?
Also what if you could make potions by crafting. (magic powder, magma creme, and a water bottle = Fire resistance bottle)
That way you wouldn't need to make a potion stand to make potions.
