What if you could mix magic dust with other dusts to get magic which had different properties? For instance, magic dust mixed with glowstone dust could become glowing magic dust, which could be made into a glowing magic block (using 4) and then into a magic lamp. (I made textures for these if you want them.) Another idea is magic gunpowder, could be made into magical tnt which would be a bigger blast radius etc. Magic sugar? Makes healing cake, pie, etc. Magic blaze powder? Also what if you could make potions by crafting. (magic powder, magma creme, and a water bottle = Fire resistance bottle) That way you wouldn't need to make a potion stand to make potions.

Pretty good ideas, I may look into making some kind of lamp, but I will probably use the bright wood/planks or the bright tree leaves in some way, instead of glowstone.
As for the gunpowder, I have been thinking about that for a long time, but never got around to it. Maybe I will put it in.
The sugar is a good idea.
"Magic Blaze Powder?" what would it do?
the potions thing I have tried, but couldn't quite figure it out, I may pick that back up again.

I was just brain storming with the blaze powder, maybe you could use magic blaze powder for another type of tnt which would leave fire behind, similar to the effect when you try to sleep in the nether.
It could use one blaze magic powder in the middle, magic explosive powder in the corners, and sand fills in the rest.
