I was playing on minecraft today, using the Usefull_Cobble as well as the Buildcraft mods, and I started thinking. What was everyone first Minecraft build. Now, I'm not talking about your first mega-build, or the first build that you liked, but your very first build, the first thing you ever made.
Mine was a sand castle, or, it was supposed to be a sand castle. It was really more of a sand house. I didn't really know much about the game at the time, so I found a sand bar sticking up out of the ocean, dug some of it out, placed it around the edges for a wall, and it was my house.
It had an underwater entrance, and even a basement floor. Sadly, I no longer have that world. At the time I didn't know that you could save just by going to the menu, I though that you had to quit out of the world, so I didn't save. Then the power went out, and since I was on a desktop, so went my sandhouse.
I did build a new one when I made a new world, but sadly, it was not the same. It was never the same again...
Tell me about your first build. What version were you in? What was it made of? Do you still have it?

That is a sad story. I started playing way back in 1.6.6 beta, so things were much simpler then...
EDIT: actually, I started playing 1.6.5 beta, and 1.6.6 came out shortly after that.
